I took these pictures this afternoon and it sure feels a lot like Fall around here! Along with the jackets and boots comes a transition time on the farm as well. The sunflowers aren’t looking so sunny anymore but pretty soon they’ll be great bird feeders! The corn is still standing tall with most still close to 10 ft. and now the large cobs are hanging off the stalks waiting for Harvest at the end of October. Most of the flowers have lost their summer glow but some are still hanging in there! And the first frost means it’s pumpkin picking time for us! I am sad to see summer go so quickly but I’m excited that PUMPKIN and Harvest time is just around the corner – my favourite, and I think, most beautiful time of year here in Central Alberta. Hurray!
