How much time do you recommend for our visit?

Accepted Answer

Allow 2.5-4 hours for your visit to Kraay Family Farm. If you don&rsquo;t have the time in one visit you can always upgrade to a Season Pass and come back again and again!

Question 4

Do you participate in Alberta Open Farm Days

Accepted Answer

Kraay Family Farm does not participate in Alberta Open Farm Days. We are not a traditional farm with the experiences associated with this yearly Auguest event.

Question 5

Can I bring my whole family?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Everyone is welcome here – there is something for all ages. Kids and Kids at heart pay admission and 2 and under are free.

Question 6

When is the flashlight maze?

Accepted Answer

In the Fall, when it is darker earlier, we suggest you try the maze in the dark! We open later on Fridays and Saturdays in the Fall so you can spend the evening in the maze. Bring a flashlight!

Why do you have a capacity?

Accepted Answer

Our capacity restrictions on Saturdays and Holidays in the Fall are purely for our actual physical capacity on the farm. We can only handle a certain number of vehicles and people due to our parking space, farm space, food we can cook at a time, staffing, etc. For the foreseeable future, this is way we will deal with capacity. Please purchase tickets for these days online and ahead of time to avoid disappointment.

Question 8

Do I need to purchase tickets ahead of time?

Accepted Answer

No, you do not NEED to purchase tickets ahead of time. However, pre-purchasing will guarantee your admission to the farm. It is up to you if you would like to do so and it speeds up the process when you arrive. August 23 (the last Saturday in the Summer), Fall Saturdays and Holiday Mondays are date-specific and we do recommend purchasing your tickets online to reserve your spot as we often do reach capacity on those days.

Question 9

Do Season Pass holders get any discounts?

Season Pass holders get a 10% discount at the Concession and Ice Cream and Espresso Bar

Can I change my date-specific ticket to another day?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Go to your original email. Click on VIEW YOUR PASSES and then EDIT TICKETS and you can choose whatever date you would like to come instead.

Question 11

I bought day passes and they are all under one name, is that okay?

Accepted Answer

YES! Day passes are all transferable and therefore can be under anyone's name. If they are all in the name of the purchaser, that is totally fine. Season Passes are NOT transferable and the name on the pass must match the person who comes.

Question 12

I have a ticket from my workplace (or union). Do I have to book a day to come as well?

Accepted Answer

If you have a ticket from your workplace or union (usually the size of a business card), you do not have to book a day to come. Those tickets are considered pre-purchased and are included in our capacity calculations.

I have a Season Pass. Do I need to book a day to come?

Accepted Answer

If you have a Season Pass, you do not need to book a specific day to come, even when the day requires date-specific tickets.

What is a Punch Pass for?

Accepted Answer

We have several attractions on the farm that require an additional purchase. To give you a better deal on some of those (and some food and treats!) we have bundled them together in a Punch Pass for a better deal. Choose between a 5 Punch Pass or a 10 Punch Pass.

Do you have a family rate?

We do all individual pricing here at the farm. If your group is 50+ people you can access our group rate. Please see our admissions page for more information.

No we do not offer a military discount.

Is Kraay Family Farm wheelchair accessible?

Accepted Answer

Yes! If it is raining, though, the field will get muddier so we recommend to come on a nice sunny day if at all possible.

Question 19

If I work with a person with disabilities (or my child has disabilities),do you have a special rate?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Please show your Access 2 pass. It is a 2 for 1 rate which you can work out however you would like together. All our passes are the same price.

How do you cut out the maze?

I tried to reach you by phone but never heard back. What should I do?

We get a very large volume of calls and have a very small administrative staff. Sometimes we are not able to get back to the phone calls until much later. Please leave a message or text but know that you will likely get a reply by email faster: info@kraayfamilyfarm.com

Do you have farm rules?

*Have fun!
*Be respectful. We love that we can share our farm with you. Please help us to keep the farm a friendly and beautiful place.
*No swearing, smoking, or alcohol.
*Anyone under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
*Please do no litter or vandalize.
*In case of any emergency or incident, please inform an employee of the Kraay Family Farm.
*Guests may arrive on the farm at the designated time of opening and must leave one hour after the ticket booth closes.
Please also read out Notice of Liability:
*The Kraay Family Farm, Home of the Lacombe Corn Maze Inc., owners and management reserve the right to ask anyone whom they deem to be disrespecting the farm or other guests to leave the property.
*Each guest assumes the inherent risk associated with being on a farm and the activities on the farm. Read and obey all safety signage and instruction. The Kraay Family Farm, Home of the Lacombe Corn Maze Inc. is not responsible for injury or loss.
*A person who observes or participates in activities on this property assumes the risks inherent in the activity. Risks inherent in these activities may include conditions on the land, the unpredictable behavior of farm animals, the ordinary dangers associated with equipment used in farming operations, and the potential that a participant in the activity may act in a negligent way that may contribute to injury.
Participants assume all risks of personal injury.
*You are assuming the risk of participating in this agritourism activity.
*Parents or guardians are responsible for their kids at all times. If parents or guardians are not present, the accompanying adult is responsible for all minors in their care at all times. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Do I have to wear a wristband?

Question 24

Can I bring my dog?

Accepted Answer

Yes, dogs can come to the farm and go through the maze. Dogs must be friendly, well-behaved, and stay away from food areas. They MUST be on a short leash at all time. There are many guests, especially some young ones, who are afraid of dogs and we ask that you please take that into consideration when deciding if you should take your dog to the farm. Ownership reserves the right to ask that you do not have your dog at the farm if the situation presents itself.

Are electric scooters allowed at the farm?

Electric scooters (unless needed for a disability) are not allowed on the farm.

Are you open when it’s raining or in bad weather?

Accepted Answer

Generally, yes, we are open when it’s raining. However, if there is another time that you are able to come, we recommend you try to make it on a day that’s a little less wet! Please do check our website, Instagram or Facebook for current updates as we do sometimes close when there is lots of rain or extreme weather. If you do come in the rain please bring rain gear, especially your boots as the field will get muddy (and so will you!) Certain attractions on the farm may be closed for safety reasons, such as the jumping pillows. If there is lightning or other dangerous conditions, guests will be asked to take shelter in a safe area. We deciude based on numerous factors as to when it is not safe here at the farm and will let the guests knows when we do.

Season Pass Policy

Season Pass Policy
Season Passes are non-refundable and valid for the 2026 season only.
Passes are non-transferable and are only valid for the individual who uses them on the first visit, at which time names and photos will be confirmed. Passes may not be shared with another person.
No reservations are required for Season Pass holders. To visit, simply present your Season Pass at our ticket booths to receive a wristband. This may be subject to change for specific fall weekends — Season Pass holders will be notified in advance if reservations become required.
All guests ages 3 and over require a pass. Ages 2 and under are free. Every guest must receive a wristband at the gate on each visit — your wristband is your liability waiver.
All children under age 12 must be accompanied by a responsible adult to enter.
A Season Pass may be revoked if farm rules are not followed.
Season Passes do not include Punch Passes.

Kraay Family Farm, Home of the Lacombe Corn Maze Inc. is not liable for any injuries, lost or stolen property, damages, or any other circumstances pertaining to your visit. Kraay Family Farm is not responsible for lost or stolen tickets.
By entering the property and accepting a wristband, all guests acknowledge and agree to these terms.

General Ticket Policy
Tickets are non-refundable and valid only for the dates and/or times specified. Tickets purchased are only good for the season in which they are purchased — 2026 tickets are valid for the 2026 season only.
Prices for both online and gate are listed on our Pricing & Admission page under VISIT. There is a processing fee of $0.95 per online ticket and $0.65 for Season Passes. Tickets are still cheaper online.
All guests ages 3 and over require a ticket. Ages 2 and under are free and do not require a ticket. A responsible adult must accompany all children under age 12 to enter Kraay Family Farm.
Each paying guest on the property must wear a wristband at all times. Your wristband serves as your liability waiver — by accepting and wearing a wristband, you acknowledge and accept that Kraay Family Farm, Home of the Lacombe Corn Maze Inc. is not liable for any injuries, lost or stolen property, or damages pertaining to your visit.
Fall Weekend tickets are date-specific, as weekends do fill up. Please confirm the date on your ticket before purchasing. You may change the date on your own ticket if needed, subject to availability. Date changes must be made prior to your ticketed date.
Rainchecks are available for guests who must leave due to inclement weather. Please inquire at the Ticket Booth before leaving. Rainchecks are determined by length of stay and require the name of each person before departure.
Entry is subject to capacity limits. We recommend purchasing tickets online in advance, as we do sell out on certain days.
Kraay Family Farm reserves the right to revoke any ticket or pass if farm rules are not followed. Farm rules are posted on-site and on our website. Kraay Family Farm is not responsible for any lost or stolen tickets.

Tent Rental Policy

Tent Rental Policy
Tent Rentals must be cancelled at least 12 hours prior to your arrival time. A $25 deposit is required at the time of booking and is non-refundable.
All guests must have a valid ticket to enter the farm. Tickets are not included with tent rentals and must be purchased separately, either online in advance or at the gate. We strongly recommend purchasing tickets in advance, as we do sell out our maximum capacity on certain days. All guests ages 3 and over require a ticket. Ages 2 and under are free. Wristbands are required for all ticket holders — your wristband is your liability waiver.
In the event that Kraay Family Farm closes due to inclement weather, tent rental fees (excluding the non-refundable deposit) will be reimbursed.
A cell phone number is required at the time of booking so we may contact you during your visit.

I have a tent rented for a full Saturday, can all my guests get in?

If you have rented a tent on a Saturday that requires date-specific tickets, please purchase your guests' tickets ahead of time or have your guests purchase their own.

Yes you can pack your own food and you can rent a bbq ($20 plus GST – includes propane and utensils) if you need that as well.

Can I take my own picnic lunch?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you are welcome to bring your own picnic lunch to the farm. No alcohol please. We ask that you please use one of the picnic areas around the farm for your picnic. Tents are available to rent (online) and the gazebo and surrounding area is for those purchasing their food and snacks at the CORNcession barn. Please be courteous to others and remember that others may need a picnic spot too. Once you are done eating, we ask that you pack up and make room for others. This is especially true on busy days. Thank you for your cooperation!

Can I bring a birthday cake?

Yes. We ask that you store it yourself.  We do not have space to store extra food.

Can I reserve a firepit?

Accepted Answer

Firepits are available on a first come, first serve and we do not reserve them. Firewood bundles can be purchased here but we do not have lighters, kindling or paper for starting the fire. Please come prepared if you would like to have a fire at the farm.
